Happy Halloween from Suzy’s Cheesecakes! 🎃 This Halloween we’ve cooked up some spooky food tutorials that will be fun for the whole family. Enjoy our first Halloween cheesecake creation by following the easy steps below!
Tip: Freeze Cheesecake Squares, minimum of 1 hour before starting the recipe. This allows the squares to be easier to work with.
Put the desired color of candy melts in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments until they are thoroughly melted. Make sure to mix every 30 seconds.
Using a fork, dip the cheesecake square into the melted chocolate, covering half of the square.
Place squares on a parchment lined baking sheet and put eyes on square while the chocolate is still melted. If chocolate is too hard, re-melt the candy melts and use that as adhesive to put eyes on square.
Tip: If you need to reheat the candy melts, mix in a teaspoon of canola or vegetable oil after reheating to have smooth consistency.
