Keeping your Cheesecake Cold and Fresh

August 16, 2017 / Category: Cheesecake Pairing

Following up last week’s post, we wanted to give some tips on how to keep your cheesecake cold and fresh on your adventures.

Full-sized Cheesecake

It’s best to leave a full-sized cheesecake in its container as long as possible. If enclosed, the cake will last around one to two hours off ice.

If you need your cake to last a little longer, we recommend putting it on a bed of ice (if displayed on a table) or in a cooler for storage. The cake should last a couple extra hours that way. Check out our Pinterest board for more creative ideas.

Keep your cake covered for as long as possible!

Pretty much the same goes for slices of cheesecake, but with smaller containers. Also, it’s important to note that slices will melt faster than full cakes, so cut the full-cake times in half.

Slices melt fast, so be sure to keep an eye on them!

Petites & Triangles

Our petites and triangles are the most resilient of our baked goods, making them perfect for every adventure. Just be sure to keep them from getting crushed! We’ve found putting them in mason jars is a great way to go.
