Just
a quick note ... while these are some of the traditional wedding cake styles
we do,
you are by no means limited to just these cakes. We have a talented staff
of
National Award Winning Pastry Chefs who can work with just about any idea
you bring us.
And ... we don't just do cheesecakes. We bake a full offering of traditional
cakes too.

'Traditional
White Column Pillars'
This cake uses traditional white (column) pillars and plates. We can stack up to five layers this way. This cake has a nice spray of fresh flowers between each layer and some rose petals and greens around the bottom of the cake (which your florist provides). Click Here to Search Our Photo Gallery

'Wine Glasses' This is an example of a wedding cake using 'wine glasses'. Because they are less stable than pillars and plates we recommend that the first layers are stacked while the top most section is set off by the glasses. This example uses traditional 'saucer' champagne glasses. Flowers are nice but so is accenting the rest of the cake with tinted buttercream. Check out the sprinkling of multicolored rose petals around the diameter of the cake which your florist can provide |

'Stacked on atop the Next' This is a traditionally stacked cake. It may appear that each cake is just set atop the next, but at Suzy's the interior of each cake is filled with hidden wooden support dowels which help carry the weight of the upper layers. This is especially important as your cake sits out on display. It is a simple design and works well for smaller wedding cakes. This person had flowers placed on the table and a small spray atop the cake. |

'White Cascade Stand' This is our 'white cascade stand' wedding cake. Each layer is decorated separately, surrounded by tuck & ruffle lace and each is designed to sit atop its own pedestal. Each pedestal has its own base and they can be arranged to sweep upwards like steps, or peak to the center and back down. In this picture we've worked with a florist who used a spray of fresh flowers in the middle and then wrapped each cake with matching ivy. |
|
'Clear Plates & Pillars' This is an example of the traditional tiered wedding cake using 'clear pillars and plates'. Every layer is spaced approximately 5 inches from the next becoming progressively smaller in diameter as it rises upwards. The separations can be filled with fresh flowers. While we don't do the flowers we can work with your florist. They'll normally set the flowers in place after we deliver the cake. |
|
'Acrylic (Clear) Cascade Stand' This is our acrylic stand. Each stand is made from clear acrylic material giving the impression of each layer free-floating. There is a rental for this stand as it has a limited life span. Sections can be decorated with fresh flowers or we can use tinted French buttercream. Some florists wrap the vertical posts with ivy. |

'Twist Pillars & Plates' If you like vertical this is the stand for you: 'twist pillars and plates'. These are specifically designed for height as each set of four pillars fits snugly into the supporting plates. Each pillar is then imbedded firmly into the whole depth of the cake. Fresh Flowers were set to center on layers 2 & 4 while offset on layers 1 & 3. Finally the base was wrapped completely in ferns (again which your florist provides). |
